Your mind. Your life.

The passageway to true living begins with inner healing.

What We Specialize In

Trauma

Significantly disturbing experiences or events can inflict intense emotional disruption that cause confusion, fear, or other adversities that interfere with one’s ability to live life normally.

PTSD

Untreated trauma can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and can result in long-term severe emotional, psychological, and physical disruptions in many areas of one’s life.

Depression

At certain periods of life, many people may experience depressed mood, sadness, emptiness, irritability, or other related states of mind which can diminish one’s joy in life.

Anxiety

Anxiety is an often chronically occurring state of worry, fear, apprehension, and/or agitation that can cause challenges in day-to-day life and even impact one’s physical health and wellness.

Dissociation

Dissociative disorders can result from deep trauma and are characterized by disruptions in the normal integration of one’s consciousness, perception, memory, and even identity.

Attachment

Experiences such as loss or childhood trauma can give rise to attachment disorders, which are characterized by difficulties forming and maintaining healthy emotional connections.

Passaggio’s healing work is firmly grounded in the conviction that your quality of life is directly dependent upon your state of mind.

How We Help You Heal

EMDR

Based upon the neuro-regulatory properties of rapid eye movement (REM) that occurs during sleep, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy helps individuals process and cope with trauma.

Parts Work

Known as Structural Dissociation Theory, Parts Work is a therapeutic approach that addresses different aspects, or parts, of the internal self with the goal of integrating those parts so as to achieve emotional balance.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness Therapy is aimed at establishing conscious awareness of one’s thoughts, emotions, and reality in the here-and-now so as to fortify their ability to successfully confront and manage current stressors in life.

Person-Centered

In Person-Centered therapy, the client leads the exploration of their internal experiences, and the Counselor accompanies the client through active listening to facilitate the client’s discovery of their own understanding and solutions.

CBT

CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is a type of psychotherapy where a Counselor helps their client confront certain negative thoughts, thinking patterns, and/or feelings so as to empower them to develop coping strategies.

DBT

For people who experience emotions very intensely and exhibit that intensity through their behavior, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) helps them manage their emotions and behavior through focused awareness.

Insurances Accepted

There is great joy in life. Passaggio is here to help you rediscover it.

About Passaggio Mental Health

At Passaggio MH, our aim is to enable and empower you to transition from a distressed state of mind to a restored state of mind.

This is why we chose the name Passaggio. Pronounced pah-SAH-jee-oh, it is the Italian word for “passageway” and is a common term used in professional music to refer to the range of transition when singing in one vocal register and then moving to another. A very simple example would be that moment when a vocalist is singing in a low note and then moves up into a high note.

The specialized work at Passaggio is aimed at helping strengthen your emotional and mental capabilities, doing so by walking with you compassionately and working with you holistically so that you can successfully move through the passageway of change from a “low note” to a “high note” and ultimately achieve successful transition to wellness of mind and betterment of life.
